About CineWorks
CineWorks is a 32 track digital movie studio, centering around the use of MPEG, AVI and Replay video clips, with additional 16 track audio mixing capabilities.
Video clips may be mixed together using a variety of transitions which are typically found in professional video editing environments. Transitions range from wipes and fades, to more adventurous central zooms and mosaic cuts.
Impressive video trickery is no longer exclusive to professional producers on virtually unlimited budgets, but is now possible on Acorn machines with CineWorks offering facilities such as zooming, panning, rotation, shadowing, ghosting, chroma-keying, and opacity controls.
Full vision correction controls are provided so any video clip may have it's brightness, colour and contrast adjusted at any time after capture, and even varied throughout the clip.
CineWorks can be used to create overlay graphics, removing the need for expensive genlock hardware. However, for professional use, a 16 level genlock channel is provided.
CineWorks is invaluable to owners of video capture cards such as the Eagle M2 or Irlam card, who will now be able to take the role of cameraman, director and producer of their own film creations.
